I downloaded both the schematic and board files. when i open them in Eaglecad 6.1 they appear to have several errors. Unfortunately I can't tell how critical the errors I'm seeing are or how to fix them atm. I see great potential in turning this into a 3d printer or rapid prototyping machine. I would love to be able to get a working set of boards to play around with,
I just downloaded the files and opened it with Eagle 6.1 witthout any error.
I supposed you mean that you have errors and warnings when you run the ERC check. Yes there are some errors and warnings on the boards but they are not significant. On the driver board are mainly because the FPC connector has very small traces that don't fullfill the check rules, but it's OK.
Hi, just downloaded files and opened in Eagle 6.5. On opening the board file for the laser driver, Eagle complained that the schematic did not match the board file and I noticed that several traces on each layer seem to go nowhere, just end without connecting to anything. Have not tried the motor driver board.
The pick-up fpc connector have several pin unconnected and unused, also ic9 have one gate pin's unused and unconnected, you can find some similar errors, or error rules of drill size etc... The board have some handmade changes for meet our size limitations on the beginings, It´s is a prototype schem not for production, you can reroute the pcb board with your size requeriments.
You are welcome to improve it !
