I see from your posts around the web that a 3d printer is your next project, its a current project of mine. I was working on simplifying the pickup driver board to make it interface into the open pins on an ardiuno + ramps 1.4 board combo.

I downloaded both the schematic and board files. when i open them in Eaglecad 6.1 they appear to have several errors. Unfortunately I can't tell how  critical the errors I'm seeing are or how to fix them atm. I see great potential in turning this into a 3d printer or rapid prototyping machine. I would love to be able to get a working set of boards to play around with,

DiyouPCB – Calibrating the Printer

You already have the firmware and the computer software installed. Now it's time to calibrate the printer but before we are going to learn how to manage it manually.

Attention:  for the first calibration phase is necessary to uninstall the Printing Bed.

 

Connecting your computer to the printer

Plug the USB cable to the printer and your computer and run Putty to connect to it.

Installing the tools

 

Attention: Do not connect to the printer the external power supply yet. In this step, you will only upload the firmware on the Arduino and you can do it just powering the Arduino through the USB cable.

To calibrate and use the printer you will need the following tools:
