¿Qué puede hacer?

Submitted by DIYouware on Sun, 06/15/2014 - 19:49

What can it do?

Some people asked us to describe in more detail the capabilities of MKII.

Well, the robot is very versatile so it can do a lot of things. All depends on the toolhead you install on it.

We call “toolhead” the tool adapter needed to install a tool in the robot, for example a laser tool. Once you have the toolhead it is very easy to use the tool. Just uninstall any previously installed toolhead, connect the new one, and use it.

We already designed some toolheads but...

Un robot multifuncional

Submitted by DIYouware on Fri, 06/13/2014 - 19:35

A multi-functional hobby robot

Submitted by DIYouware on Fri, 06/13/2014 - 19:21

We already revealed some characteristics of the new DiyouPCB MKII printer but now that we have a better idea about how it will be we are going to share some information with the community. That’s the reason we are redesigning the web site.

DiyouPCB MKII will be a versatile multi-functional robot that will help us to build PCBs: mainly to photo engrave dry-film circuits with the PHR-8003T laser but also to drill vias and holes with any rotary tool.

But during the development process we saw that really it’s much more than a PCB robot.

Nueva estructura de la web

Submitted by DIYouware on Tue, 06/10/2014 - 19:36

Submitted by DIYouware on Tue, 06/10/2014 - 11:44

New web structure

Submitted by DIYouware on Tue, 06/10/2014 - 08:10

We are modifing the web structure to accomodate information about DiyouPCB MKII. The idea is to publish in a blog information about the development. You will continue to access MKI contents through the DiyouPCB MKI menu option.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

We'd like to thank....

Hi,

We'd like to thank you for all the support messages received as well as tips & ideas to solve the issues encountered on the DiyouPCB development and also for the requirements you sent us in order to include new features.

As some of you already knew, our plan for the future were to design an UV resin 3D printer, also based in the PHR803-T laser pickup and the electronics we developed. But due to the success of DiyouPCB we are going to change our plans and will focus on a new version of it.

We will call it MK-II and it will be radically different from the MK-I which is the actual prototype.

We have writen a new list of designing criteria for the new printer:

Hello, In the "Mechanics" section of the forum, under the thread "Stepper motor," you talk about your "MKII" version of your DiyouPCB printer.  You mention to one of the users that they should wait to build the printer until the "MKII" is completed.  I was wondering if there is a timeline on the MKII or if you know when it will be finished?  I don't mean to pry but I am very interested in both versions of the printer, and I am rather eager to see what kind of results you guys are able to achieve with the next version of the printer!

Hi,Could you write some more information about stepper motor that you used.I looked at primopal web page, but there is no such model as you mentioned. So if you could give some technical information like,* angle/step* dimentions (I know that nema16, but what is the length ? I guess 26mm - but could you confirm that)and maybe some electrical characteristics:bipolar, 2 phase 12V ? 0.6A ?
